There are now over 60 academic and support staff in the Division. There are two main groups within the Division: the Medical Education Development Unit (MEDU); and the Centre for Learning Anatomical Sciences (CLAS). Members of MEDU are involved in a wide range of activities, including: educational management; curriculum development; staff development; teaching; pastoral support and medical education research.
The main focus of CLAS is to provide teaching and learning in anatomy for undergraduate and postgraduate students. It comprises 15 staff who undertake a high teaching load and make significant contributions to curriculum management of the BM programmes.
